However, the handset has surfaced again in a new photo, showing it in all of its clamshell form factor splendor, though it seems that its design is a little surprising, at least when it comes to the comparison between it and the mobile phone designs we have been used to seeing in the wild lately.
As one can easily notice from the first look at the photo with Twiggy, the handset comes with a design that hasn't been around for about a decade, yet those who miss the old days of mobile phones will certainly be attracted to it. Especially if it comes to the market with all the benefits of the modern world, including 3G connectivity or powerful Internet browsing capabilities, though no details on its specs are available at the moment.
The Sony Ericsson Twiggy was leaked into the wild in a series of press materials that were pulled soon after. The Japanese-Swedish phone maker hasn't said anything about the development of the handset until now, and there are great chances that it has been canned already. Hopefully, given the fact that it has surfaced again, the device will come to the market in the end, probably waiting for an ‘almost here’ official announcement.
