Worldwide supplier of consumer electronics Philips just issued its newest press release in which it unveiled the existence of three new products, two of which are of the audio variety.

When Philips issued its newest press announcement, it definitely did more than just show off a small device meant to wirelessly stream media from a PC to a HDTV or whatever else.

Granted, the Wireless HD Net Connect will probably give the its Belkin-built competitor, and all others, a hard time.

Either way, the larger part of the release dealt with the Philips Fidelio SoundSphere Speakers with AirPlay and the Philips O’Neill line of headphones.

The headphones are intended for durability, although this isn't to say they don't exactly qualify as rugged.

Instead, the O'Neill are so built that they won't get worn out when used by those with an active lifestyle, thanks to the flexible but temperature-resistant, durable material.

Also, the headphones can be of the long-wearing sport type or just noise-isolating ear buds, or anything in between.

Meanwhile, the Philips Fidelio SoundSphere Speakers with AirPlay wirelessly stream clear and rich music, thanks to the FullSound technology. They should be compatible with all the various Apple products (iPod, iPhone, iPad etc.), among other things.

As with all other media products that Philips released over the years, or will release form now on, the official website should have all needed information on both offers, or soon will if the product pages have yet to be set up.

Prospective buyers interested in the prices of the newcomers should gather between $24.99 and $99.99 should they be interested in one of the O'Neill headphones.

As for the Philips Fidelio SoundSphere Speakers with AirPlay, which 'allow you to wirelessly stream music so you can enjoy rich, clear, authentic sound throughout your entire home,” they go from $229.99 to $799.99.
