The new handset features MP3 multitasking technology

Pantech Group has announced the launch of its new CDMA phone ? IM-U110.

The new model has a built-in flash memory card slot, allowing for an extended 1 GB of storage space. The extensive memory facility, offers users the posibility to save up to 200 MP3 songs, 1,024 high resolution pictures or more than 1,800 games. Designed for the playing of music with its advanced MP3 player functionality, the new handset is equipped with a touch sensor pad on the top of the upper folder, from which the users can select, stop or pause songs at the touch of a finger tip. The IM-U110 features MP3 full multitasking technology, so that users can enjoy games, send text messages, and connect to the Internet, while listening to music.

IM-U110 also features: MP3 Player with 1GB Flash Memory Card, MSM6500 chipset, CDMA 1x EV-DO, 2.0 inch QVGA LCD main display, 64 polyphonic melody, MP3 Full Multitasking Functionality, 2 megapixel Camera with Auto Focus and PictBridge, support for AAC / AAC+ / MP3 / MPEG4 / H.264, Loud Stereo Speaker, and MOD (Music-On-Demand) / VOD (Video-On-Demand) services.

The handset will be released at the end of January under the SKY brand on the Korean market, and will cost approximately US$650.
