Klegg Electronics has launched the Klegg Mini MP3 player, a small portable audio device that has also a color display. The new product is based on the SoC (System on Chip) solution from SigmaTel. Despite its small dimensions, Klegg Mini offers decent features and has a storing capacity of up to 250 songs, 10.000 photos or hours of voice recording.

The new player uses the SoC SigmaTel STMP3550 solution and comes in a variety of color and storing capacities - 128 MB, 256 MB or 512 MB, flash memories being used. The connection to a PC is made using USB 2.0 and the battery, that is charged also by USB 2.0, can give up to 26 hours of audio playback.

Klegg Mini is equipped with an LCD color display, measuring one inch, that offers a 128 X 128 pixel resolution and 4096 colors (enough for visualizing photos on such a small screen). Measuring only 48 X 38 X 17 mm, Klegg Mini enables voice recording capabilities and audio playback in WMA format (including DRM - Digital Rights Management) and all the MP3 formats. Also, photos can be viewed as a slideshow.

The 128 MB version is available for a ~80 USD price, the 256 MB one for ~100 USD and the 512 MB model is priced at ~130 USD.
