Cingular Wireless has announced recently the availability of Pantech C120 handset.

This is the second Pantech's ''Slim Series'' mobile supplied to Cingular, since June when C300 model registered a huge success in America. Pantech C120 features a bar type slim design, measures 103 x 42.5 x 13.5 mm, and weighs only 75 grams. It is equipped with various additional functions such as VGA built-in camera, SMS, MMS service, OZ IM Client to send and receive text and image messages, WAP and Java 2.0., speakerphone, and 1.5 inch color STN display, which supports 128 x 128 pixel resolution. It seems that the Pantech C120 is only available for Cingular customers that use one of the GoPhone services - Pick Your Plan or Pay As You Go, and can be bought for about $90.

''The introduction of the Pantech C120 further underscores our ambition to become a leader in the U.S. mobile phone market and, indeed, in other key regions around the world. We hope the Pantech C120 turns out to be another iconic model in Cingular's product lineup,'' Sung Kyu Lee, President of Pantech, stated.

By launching this new handset, Pantech intends to strengthen its presence on the US GSM market, and to continue its successful ''Slim Series'', started with Pantech C300 handset.
