Following her successful run with the second “Transformers” film, Megan Fox is now promoting the upcoming horror comedy “Jennifer’s Body.” While this might not be seen as real acting either, according to critics, the film does promise to offer an enjoyable experience. Still, Fox believes producers went all out with her part because she personally hates being in small clothes and plenty of makeup, as she says in a recent interview.

Fox plays the most popular cheerleader in high school in “Jennifer’s Body,” the girl the entire world gravitates around. She does have one dark secret, though, namely that her body is possessed by a demon who forces her to kill all boys that cross her path – until her best friend (played by Amanda Seyfried) discovers her secret and starts making plans to stop her. As one can easily imagine, this being a horror flick that has Fox as the lead, no expenses are spared in terms of using minuscule outfits and plenty of makeup to make her look even more stunning than she already does in real life.

And it’s precisely this that annoys her, the actress reveals. “I don’t [like] small clothes. I always feel really insecure. I don’t like wearing make-up. And if I have clean hair and a clean face, I’m more confident because I don't feel like I’m speaking behind a mask.” Fox says of the outfits and extra styling that went into her to make her truly breathtaking for the part in “Jennifer’s Body.”

As usual, Megan Fox is contradictory in her statements: if now she’s saying that she doesn’t like being made into a whole new person that she is not (somewhat objectified, one might say), just recently, she was happy to use her character to push the movie, describing “Jennifer’s Body” with a vast array of terms, from “inappropriate” to deliciously appealing.

“It’s so unapologetic and completely inappropriate at all times. […] Beyond that, before every kill there is a seduction that occurs. The boys have to be seduced to get in close enough to the dead girl in order for her to devour them.” the actress was saying almost a month ago.

Be that as it may, “Jennifer’s Body” has managed to generate enough hype to deserve a fair chance (regardless of Megan Fox’s statements), so fans of the genre are encouraged to focus only on that. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on September 18.
