14 DAY TRIAL // Warner Bros. has released a brand new poster for the most anticipated movie of the summer, “The Dark Knight Rises,” Chris Nolan's third and final Batman film. Click on the image above to see it.
Though pretty neat in its own right, the poster fails to reveal anything new about the film or even to offer new imagery.
As the second image attached to this article will confirm (courtesy of NolanFans), the picture is actually a rehashing of the first teaser poster, with The Bat superimposed on it and some fire in the background for good measure.
Considering the promo pics Warners released before this one, the comic-book-ish-looking ones, we'd say this is a second out of three strikes.
As you can imagine, fans are not happy, and we can't but relate: when you have a movie that practically sells itself, why would you want to tarnish the waiting with bad promo.
