It's been a while since the first trailer for Chris Nolan's “The Dark Knight Rises” premiered but, as with all Nolan films, this one too will surely be worth the wait. A second trailer will arrive in theaters on May 4.

Nothing is official yet but, as this screenshot can confirm, Warner Bros. has already decided that a new trailer for the insanely anticipated film will run before screenings of “The Avengers.”

As NolanFans points out, this pairing is nothing out of the ordinary.

“According to the WB Exhibitor site, the third trailer for The Dark Knight Rises will be attached to Marvel’s The Avengers on May 4th. Both 2D and 3D conventional showings of The Avengers (as well as 2D and 3D IMAX showings!) will be playing the trailer,” the e-zine says.

“This isn’t the first time WB has placed a beloved DC Comics trailer in front of a Marvel movie. Back in 2008, the third trailer for The Dark Knight played before showings of Iron Man. And in 2010, the final trailer for Nolan’s Inception played in front of Iron Man 2,” adds the same media outlet.

However, until Warners confirms the news, fans can't but pray this is true.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the summer preview issue, director Chris Nolan, who is now working on his third and final Batman film, promised that fans will not be disappointed by it, in more or less the same words.

Tom Hardy, a new addition to the franchise, playing the villain Bane, also assured fans they have nothing to worry when it comes to the reportedly muffled voice his character will be using in the final version of the film.

“It’s a risk, because we could be laughed at – or it could be very fresh and exciting,” Hardy said, adding that he had created the voice from “a desire to honor the comic book character’s brains and Caribbean heritage.”

“The audience mustn’t be too concerned about the mumbly voice. As the film progresses, I think you’ll be able to tune to its setting,” he further explained, as we also reported at the time.

Word online claimed Warners was mortified that fans might walk out of the theater because they couldn't understand what Bane was saying: he's wearing a face mask through which he breathes in a gas that gives him superhuman powers but, at the same time, his voice has also been modified in post-production.

When Warners introduced a 6-minute prologue with Bane ahead of screenings of “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol,” many complained that they barely understood a fraction of the villain's lines.

“The Dark Knight Rises” will be out in theaters on June 20.
