The second official teaser for “New Moon” was released the other day, and a full-length trailer is to follow it this Friday, with the release of “Bandslam.” Still, this is not all that “Twilight” fans have in store, as two brand-new scenes from the upcoming film will be screened for the first time ever at Movie-Con II this weekend, Empire Online can confirm.

As fans know, following the first trailer that was premiered at this year’s MTV Movie Awards, two different clips were shown to the screaming audiences at Comic-Con in San Diego. Then, as also noted above, the second teaser came. Now, fans are in for more surprises, as Summit Entertainment is literally preparing to make of the “New Moon” campaign the biggest thing ever, with the release of two more scenes that have not been shown to the public yet.

“Insert your earplugs now, because this year’s Empire and BFI Movie-Con II is going to include not one, but two new scenes from ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon,’ which we know may cause some of you to faint with sheer excitement.” Empire Online writes. Since this is not coming from some random source that has no credibility, but Empire itself, there is little doubt that this is not one hundred percent accurate, other movie-oriented publications point out.

As of now, it is not yet known what the scenes in question will show, although fans who have read the book must not have a hard time imagining. Judging by what Summit did at San Diego’s Comic-Con, including one scene with Bella and Jacob, and one with Bella and Edward, chances are pretty high the same will happen this weekend as well. “The film’s not due out until November 20, but you’ll be getting a sneak peek at two key scenes at this weekend’s event. While we can’t tell you which ones just yet, we can guarantee a) brooding and b) pining for an absent true love.” Empire further explains.

In other “New Moon” related news, a few hours ago, a French trailer for it got leaked on the Internet but has been pulled down in the meanwhile for violation of copyright. Those who got the chance to see it believe it was the same trailer that will drop in the US this Friday – so keep an eye on this space for more on this.
