A new video is now available in the series that marks Samsung's attempt to make us want their new Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone more than any other device out there. This time around the commercial is focused on making users aware of the speed and performance capabilities, of the new device.

Previous video ads with the smartphone brought to the spotlight the phone's screen or its thinness, or the features that Google's software offers to its users, such as Voice commands.

This time around, however, Samsung notes that the fast 1.2GHz dual-core application processor inside the phone, along with its enhanced connectivity capabilities, should prove equally appealing.

When released the Samsung Galaxy S II will offer HSPA+ connectivity, which means fast downloads and better Internet browsing for all users. The handset offers support for up to 21Mbps on the downlink.

“With its 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor, the Samsung GALAXY S II has a fast, smooth and seamless connection,” Samsung explains.

Have a look at the video, which was embedded below, to make an idea on how would Galaxy S II be able to handle a YouTube clip when compared to another mobile phone.

In the meantime, we should note that the Samsung Galaxy S II was released on shelves with Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system on board.

In addition to the 1.2GHz CPU, the smartphone packs 1GB of RAM, along with 16GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot with support for additional storage space.

On the back, the new device sports an 8-megapixel photo snapper with LED Flash, auto focus and support for HD video recording.

It would also include 3G support (HSPA+), as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities, USB slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, and built-in GPS receiver.

Samsung Galaxy S II also offers support for a wide range of Google Mobile Services, as well as for applications available for download via the Android Market.
