Given the fact that the wide majority of customers purchasing wireless routers can be included in the home user or SOHO segments, AirLive has decided to roll out yet another such product targeting specifically this segment, namely the AIRLIVE GW-300R Giga Router.

One of the first important selling points the GW-300R has in store is the fact that it comes equipped with a hardware Wi-Fi On/Off button, meaning that one will be able to instantly “kill” the network without having to access the router's software configuration panel.

Moreover, the device also sports an eco-friendly power management system, as well as numerous security options, starting from the wireless network security features (WPA2, WEP, etc.) and also including a built-in firewall, among others.

Plus, the GW-300R also offers QOS and Web Site Blocking functions, as well as WPS functionality, is DLNA compliant and provides users with an useful IPTV pass-through feature.

Of course, the Giga Router from AirLive also sports plenty of connectivity options, including here a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100/1000 switch, as well as USB 2.0 support, enabling both file and printer sharing.

And since we've reached the topic of file sharing, we'll also have to point out that the device from AirLive enables support for up to 20K sessions, which seriously boosts the speed of P2P file transfers.

Last, but certainly not least, we'll also have to mention that finding a suitable location for placing the GW-300R Giga Router around the house shouldn't prove to be much of a problem, given the fact that this thing only measures 85 x 112 x 25 mm.

Unfortunately, no pricing details regarding the new wireless router from AirLive have been provided thus far, but we'll try our best in order to come up with this very important piece of information as soon as possible.
