Everything else will look like crap after this

If there's anything that could be the definition of "great video game trailer," it's Rockstar's second released trailer for their much anticipated Grand Theft Auto IV. It's just... I don't know, it leaves you breathless. Storyline, characters, visuals...! The music. You gotta love the music. Is there any other game out there that could compete with this? I think not. Rockstar's dubbed this one "Looking for that Special Someone."

Anyway, no matter how much I would try to describe what we're seeing here, it would be useless. There's no word in the English vocabulary or in any other language for that matter, that would describe the beauty of this GTA IV Trailer. I'll give you one hint though; check out the rearview mirror in Niko's car. Here are some new details on the game, that some of you may not be familiar with yet.

For example, stealing a parked car can no longer be done simply by opening the door and driving off. Now it involves Niko Belic approaching the car sneakily, breaking the glass with his elbow, before hotwiring it - only then can he use it. Also, there will be several animation variations to sneaking up to a car and break in. The way Niko enters the car would look different each time depending on where and how's he related to the car. More than that, because of the NaturalMotion system used in the game, the way the character will approach the car will never be the same twice. The trunks of cars will also be used by the player, but no one knows exactly how.

Just a little while ago, Peter Moore, head of Microsoft's Interactive Entertainment Business division announced that Rockstar Games is working on two downloadable packs for GTA IV. People cheered, but not PS3 owners as the developer has decided to marry Xbox Live Arcade on this one, so, if you're a 360 gamer, you're in luck, the exclusive content will be all yours.

Moore described downloadable content as "epic episode packs", and not just extra cars or characters. A press release during the conference said that the packs would add "hours of entirely new gameplay" to the game. The official Xbox website states that these episodes will last a minimum of 10 hours. Whether that's each or both put together, we'll have to wait and find out. Don't think for a second that these additional packs will be free. Take-Two Interactive's former CEO, Paul Eibeler, stated numerous times that these downloads would provide "additional revenue streams" to the company, so expect them to be expensive too.

OK, I've just about killed you with the details, which many of you probably even knew for quite some time now. I strongly recommend that you watch this GTA IV "Looking for that Special Someone" trailer (courtesy of GameVideos.com), even if you're not a fan of the series. If you ask me, this is how every video game should be presented.
