Well what do you know, if it isn't the Need for Speed ProStreet Demo that you can download and play right now on your PC. EA has just made it available and so we rushed in making it available for everyone who scrolls through our games section too. The demo of course features the two game modes every Xbox 360 owner on the planet is already familiar with - a little taste of what NFS ProStreet should fully deliver in less than two weeks time.

Ever since the announcement that ProStreet was under development, we've watched the game's evolution closely, making available every video, screenshot and developer's diary that EA had rolled out every other week or so. Here's pretty much everything that the publishing giant has revealed on the game, before and after the launch of the Xbox 360 playable demo:

NFS: ProStreet Developer's Diary - 'Competing at the Highest Level of Street Racing' NFS ProStreet Developer's Diary: Drifting - an 'Art Form' NFS ProStreet Developer's Diary - Dictate Everything, Make Customization Blueprints NFS ProStreet Developer's Diary - Use the Wind Tunnel to Check Your Drag and Downforce

Of course, since this here demo is for the PC version of the game, system specs (as hinted by Nfsplanet.com some while ago) look a little something like this (not confirmed by EA):

Why don't you check out Softpedia's Need For Speed ProStreet Preview too? Have fun playing the demo!
