You won't believe how well Need For Speed ProStreet is shaping up and the latest developer's diary for ProStreet, revealing even more customization features, stands as pure confirmation that the series is heading towards a whole new level of racing. In fact, the developers have chosen the game's motto pretty well: Compete at the Highest Level of Street Racing.

As we've gotten used to a new developer's diary every other week, EA has rolled out another video this week, showcasing the endless car customization possibilities with NFS ProStreet. If you can remember, last time we talked about the game's social service (where you can dictate just about every aspect) and about making a blueprint which gamers can later use to guide themselves in customizing their ride for one event or another.

As it turns out, this week's diary reveals that it's quite crucial for gamers to make blueprints to use for guidance when customizing their cars. You'll not only be adjusting the way your car looks when equipping it with a spoiler, but also its performance, as every little part added to the exterior will have an impact on the car's aerodynamics and ultimately, your time on the track.

This is where the wind tunnel comes in. If you thought the wind tunnel thing was just for kicks you were dead wrong, as EA even encourages future players of NFS ProStreet to take their rides to the wind tunnel as soon as they're done adding parts, and use it to see how downforce and other aerodynamics elements perform.

But you won't just be manipulating the way your ride looks on the outside, but on the inside too. You can browse through a set of differently shaped car seats, and you can even choose their color, to match the body kit. But why don't you just download the video right HERE and see everything for yourself.

Again, the developers assure us that everything we do when customizing our ride will have a huge impact on our time on the track, so we'll finally be able to show how we understand the laws of physics and kick some serious butt.
