Wireless services provider T-Mobile might add another device to its MyTouch series soon, namely the MyTouch 4G Slide, which has just made a photo appearance into the wild, and which also passed through the FCC hallways, it seems.

The yet unannounced mobile phone has been spotted into the wild before, under the name of HTC Doubleshot, but the wireless operator is expected to launch it as MyTouch 4G Slide.

Rumor has it that the mobile phone would be set to become available for purchase at T-Mobile as soon as July 6th arrives, but no official confirmation on the matter emerged for the time being.

Apparently, the handset has just received the necessary approvals from the FCC, which suggests that it might not be long before the mobile phone makes an official landing on the market.

The device that received the FCC blessing comes with QWERTY keypad, and also sports support for 1700MHz frequencies, which could easily make it fit for use on T-Mobile's network.

Of course, there's no telling on whether this would indeed be the MyTouch 4G Slide, but there is a great chance that it would prove to be the dual-core Gingerbread slider the wireless carrier has been long rumored to plan launching on its airwaves.

Some more info on the mobile phone comes from a series of leaked photos that emerged over at BGR, which also enable us to have a glimpse at what would be coming to magenta soon.

With Google's Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread on board and HTC's Sense UI 3.0 on top, the smartphone would feel great in users' hands. It might even deliver a better experience than HTC Sensation would.

On the back, the handset should sport an 8-megapixel photo snapper, the same as the already available high-end device. No 3D display would be included into the mix, though.

The rest of the specs remain shrouded in mystery, the same as info on the exact availability or pricing of this device. However, it should become official soon, provided that the rumor on its landing in July would pan out.
