Bell has just announced that Motorola XT860 4G is now available for purchase for as low as $99.95 on a 3-year term when activating a minimum voice and data plan combination or Smartphone plan of $50 per month or greater.

This is Bell's fourth high-end Android smartphone, as the carrier is currently offering some of the most popular devices available on the market, including Motorola ATRIX 4G, Samsung Galaxy S II and HTC Sensation.

The XT860 4G has been included in the “Superphone” category, which was debuted by the carrier a while back.

Although Bell stated a few months back that the Motorola XT860 4G will be launched “this Summer”, only two weeks ago rumors suggested that the carrier might release the phone on August 9.

It appears that the rumors were confirmed, thus customers can now purchase the Motorola XT860 4G for $549.95 outright, for $524.95 with a new one-year plan, or $499.95 with a new two-year agreement.

The XT860 4G is currently available for purchase from Verizon, as Motorola DROID 3, but Bell seems to have exclusivity over the smartphone in Canada.

The phone comes with a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, including a dedicated number row for faster messaging and dedicated editing.

In addition, the XT860 4G is equipped with a brilliant 4-inch qHD capacitive touchscreen display and a dual-core processor, clocked at 1GHz.

With the 8-megapixel camera with built-in LED flash and autofocus, users will be able to capture HD video and share it with their friends.

According to Bell, the smartphone was designed to deliver maximum speeds of 14.4 Mbps on Bell's network.

It is also worth mentioning that Motorola XT860 is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread and packs 16 GB of internal memory, 512 MB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
