The TITANIUM is not among the popular Android-powered devices launched on the market by Motorola. However, the device offers users a combination of iDEN and Android features which makes it quite versatile.

The smartphone has just been introduced in Peru and will be available from major carrier Nextel, due to its iDEN capabilities. There’s no word on the pricing options, but this one is a budget-friendly device, so it shouldn’t cost much.

Aside from iDEN, Motorola TITANIUM offers users generous and comfortable portrait QWERTY keyboard, as well as Nextel e-mail service, and the Nextel´s exclusive Direct Connect functionality.

Furthermore, the smartphone has a decent 3.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display, and a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash, 4x digital zoom and video recording.

We are constantly looking for ways to diversify our range of services by developing differentiated tools and technological devices that help our users connect with those they care most about. We want to help make their lives easier, solve problems and be more successful and productive in their business,” said Carlos Jauregui, products and services manager of Nextel Peru.

The TITANIUM is powered by Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform and provides users with unlimited options for easy and timely communication.

In addition, the device allows access to 400,000 applications via Android Market, including some of the popular messaging and social networking apps, such as WhatsApp Messenger, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.

Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support is available as well, along with built-in GPS receiver, a 1820 mAh Li-ion battery, and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB, 2GB memory card included).

Motorola TITANIUM is the perfect device for professionals looking to stay connected at all times and who need to increase their productivity to the max,” concluded Manuel Cigaran, key account manager of Motorola Mobility Peru.
