T-Mobile USA officially showed Motorola PEBL on its websites as ?Coming Soon?.

Motorola PEBL U6 is built on a quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900 network, allowing it to be compatible in GSM networks in most North American, European, and Asian GSM markets, provided the phone unlocked. Delivering an impressive 262K-colors, the 176 x 220 resolution internal screen is vividly bright and clear indoor and out is built with advanced TFT technology that allows fast refresh rates. Compared to other phones on the market, the PEBL's screen is one of the best. Conversely, the external LCD is only monochrome. The screen measures an unfortunate size of 32 x 64 pixels.

Using Motorola's Dynamic Idle solution to surf the web, customers can access news, sports, entertainment, and other premium content without any clicking. Giving users the convenience of no buttons to push and no browsers to launch, they can get the information they want directly from the PEBL's home screen. Equipped with GPRS Class 10 (4+2) technology for wireless modem capabilities, consumers can browse the web through the WAP 2.0 browser or through a connected laptop. Unfortunately, the PEBL is not built to run on T-Mobile's EDGE network. A huge disappointment, GPRS is fast, but not as fast as the EDGE. Through Bluetooth Class 2, the PEBL U6 can pair with other Bluetooth devices within a 10 meter radius. Able to connect through the min-USB port on top as well, the PEBL incorporates SyncML for synchronization of personal data, such as e-mail, calendars, to-do lists, contact information.

The PEBL is expected to be available starting on December 14, or Wednesday next week.
