Motorola Mobility has just announced that availability of the Milestone 3 Android smartphone in Brazil starting this week.

No price options have been revealed for the handset, but Motorola stated that the Milestone 3 will also be available in other countries across Latin America by the end of September.

Obviously, the main attraction of the handset is the full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, but also its sleek form factor.

Touted as the world’s thinnest Android QWERTY slider, Motorola Milestone 3 is already available for purchase in North America from Verizon Wireless, but with a different moniker, Motorola DROID 3.

Among other strengths of Motorola Milestone 3, one can notice the dual-core 1GHz processor, allowing for a better multi-tasking, faster web browsing and loading of Flash videos, as well as higher quality gaming experiences.

Motorola MILESTONE 3 catapults people into a new realm of productivity. The Milestone brand invokes a sense of advanced intelligence and mind-blowing speed, and we wanted to build upon that standard to create a device that users won’t want to put down whether they are at work, at home, on the road,” said Maurizio Angelone, vice president and general director for Mobile Devices Latin America, Motorola Mobility.

Milestone 3 comes with a brilliant 4-inch qHD display and enhanced security features that enable users to access corporate emails, documents and calendars with ease.

It also boasts a powerful 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and digital zoom, as well as a front-facing camera to video chat with friends whether over a Wi-Fi or a 3G connection.

The main camera can shoot videos and play them back in 1080p HD with mirror mode which allows users to view and share content on a larger TV via HDMI output.

In addition, Motorola Milestone 3 is powered by Google's Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) platform and comes preloaded with Quickoffice app that allows users to edit documents, presentations or spreadsheets.
