Fans of the original Moshi Moshi Bluetooth headset will probably rejoice when hearing that Native Union has just announced the second generation of their iconic headset, this new design coming with a special iPhone charge and sync cradle.

Featuring pretty much the same David Turpin design that makes use of an old-school phone headset, this new model, dubbed the Moshi Moshi MM03i, comes with improved specifications as well as a docking unit compatible with all of Apple's iPhone models, including the iPhone 4.

Available as a set, containing the handset and weighted base, this unit comes with an advanced Bluetooth 2.1 chipset that makes pairing a lot easier, Skype calls as well as mobile calls being possible with this headset.

Furthermore, the inclusion of this new Bluetooth chip, allows for two devices to be connected simultaneously (for example mobile phone and wireless computer), the talk time being estimated at about 6 hours while standby time should reach approximately 120 hours.

According to Native Union, the most compelling reason for using their headset is its radiation reduction capabilities, independent testing by TUV revealing that by using the Moshi Moshi 03 headset, phone radiations will be reduced by an whopping 97 percent.

Taking a quick look at the Moshi Moshi's specs list we also see that the unit comes with a 3.5mm audio output, for plugging in a speaker system, dedicated call answer/end and volume buttons, the device automatically answering incoming calls if the headset is picked off the dock.

Apart from Apple's iPhone, the Moshi Moshi can also be paired with other Bluetooth enabled phones and gadgets.

According to the manufacturer, the headset should be available for purchase right now from their website, pricing being set at an whopping £115 RRP (inc VAT) that translates into an equally impressive $181 US.
