It's been a while since we last heard about the Meizu M8 MiniOne phone. Since then, rumors have been going by but some things separated themselves from what came as suppositions.

Some official specifications have come for the Meizu M8 MiniOne handset, showing it as one device aiming at the title of "iPhone killer" that other devices failed din handing. Aside from the touchscreen performances, this mobile phone also comes without the drawbacks and problems that the iPhone proved to have after its release.

What made Apple's phone one true success and convinced a huge number of people to buy it without having tested it before was that the handset introduced a revolutionary concept. The touchscreen craze peaked with the iPhone and it is unlikely to reach the same strength with other devices, even if they are capable of higher performances.

Meizu M8 MiniOne has a 533 MHZ processor, a 3.3 megapixel camera and also a secondary one for video conferencing. At only 11.5 mm in thickness, the handset manages to pack a huge number of performances and a memory capacity which surpasses that of the iPhone. The smartphone is capable of video rendering performances and also has TV-out. It works on Windows Mobile 6, one of the most evolved operating systems for mobile phones and also has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities.

One information which has considerably changed over the past time is that of the price of Meizu M8 MiniOne. Initial announcements set it around USD 400, while the Negri Electronics Website priced it at USD 788. It looks like their pricing was only an estimated one, as Meizu has announced the official costs that the mobile phone will come for.

Meizu M8 MiniOne will be available in three versions, with 4,8 and 16 GB of capacity. The price for models 2000, 2500 and 3500 will be of USD 260, USD 330 and USD 460, all much lower than the prices that the iPhone has come for. The Meizu mobile phone will be released in late 2007 to early 2008.
