Well, if there are any doubts out there, everyone should know that Sega has finally admitted releasing NIGHTS: Journey of Dreams for the Wii system from Nintendo. The rumor began when pictures published on Nintendo's official periodical Official Nintendo Magazine immersed, showing what seemed to be the acrobatic protagonist of NiGHTS surrounded by stars in the pitch black sky, with the message "World Exclusive." More than enough to create a rumor, the stars finally literally aligned around our asexual old friend and hero.

As you have probably already guessed, a Wii porting of the title will improve a lot of its features and bring innovative ones as well. Thus, the developing company has revealed today more details on this highly anticipated title for the Wii, on the official NIGHTS: Journey of Dreams website. Apparently, our beloved hero will have the ability to wear persona masks, granting players the ability to explore eight new worlds in which every mask will enable NIGHTS to either explore the depths of the oceans, take to the skies at colossal speeds, or transform into an immune monster.

The masks are Dolphin Mask, Dragon Mask and Rocket Mask, but these aren't by far the game's most impressive features of all the announced features so far. What indeed makes it a great title is that it will have a new WiiConnect24 implementation, enabling players to set the in-game weather in accordingly to the one in real time, using the Forecast Channel. It's not that new actually (it was present in a PC game called Black and White in 2001). Also, using this very same feature, players will be able to exchange items via the network.

By the passing of every day, it looks more and more like NIGHTS: Journey of Dreams is becoming an all time winner for the Nintendo's Wii. Like it wasn't doing great already...
