14 DAY TRIAL // In October, the fifth “Resident Evil” film, called “Retribution,” will go into production. Milla Jovovich has been training since February to reprise her role as Alice in the action-packed zombie saga – and she’s also recently opened up a bit more about what fans are to expect from the new installment.
In all fairness, Milla has never made a secret of the enthusiasm she feels whenever she’s getting ready or already working on a “RE” film, so it’s no wonder this time is no exception either.
Even before “Retribution” had even gone into pre-production, the actress was tweeting up a storm about it, taking questions from fans and promising them an even better, crazier and more action-packed ride.
She does the same now.
In a Twitter Q&A session, the actress addressed some of the most burning issues with fans, such as which characters from “Afterlife,” the previous installment, will return, and whether Alice will be facing new threats.
“we will hve the Las Plagas parasite!!!” Milla tweeted to one fan. “this movie is going to be the scariest AND most action packed yet!” she promises.
Just like “Afterlife,” “Retribution” will be shot and will play in 3D, for a maximum thrill for the audiences.
“RE will be in 3D! my husband is obsessed w the new technology and we take the extra time 2 make sure no one has a headache after!” Milla writes.
As for specifics, she reveals the film will include “an amazing fight w a bunch of zombies AND an epic fight w jill valentine,” but that it will not feature appearances from Ali Larter and Wentworth Miller anymore.
“chris, claire n kmart get abducted by umbrella in this one, so no he won’t b in this movie,” she writes. Shawn Roberts, however, will be back as Albert Wesker.
Moreover, Milla says, if “Retribution” fares well with fans, a sixth movie will most certainly follow suit – and it may even feature appearances from all the characters in the previous installments.
“we wld love 2 make a 6th where every1 is back together! but the fans will decide after they see this one!” she says.
