14 DAY TRIAL // Last week, after a radio interview Mariah Carey did to promote her latest album, rumors started to make the rounds that she was expecting twins. Safe to say that, if she is, she won’t tell anyone about it.
Sitting down with ABC’s Extra to talk about the huge project she’s working on all throughout Christmas, Mariah thought of getting the ardent question about twins out of the way.
“If I do find out, I’m not telling anyone,” she says when asked whether she knows if she’s having a boy, a girl or twins, as the video below will confirm.
In saying so, Mariah proves she meant business when she said, upon making the pregnancy announcement a while back, that she meant to have a traditional pregnancy, in the sense that she will find out what she’s having when she gives birth.
If she’s keeping mum on the subject of the twins, the diva is a bit more generous with the interviewer when it comes to other aspects of her personal life.
For instance, she reveals, she’s determined to wear high heels for as long as she still can, she doesn’t really have many cravings and her fingers are so swollen on days that she can’t even take her famous butterfly ring off.
“My taste buds situation is unparalleled...,” she says, speaking of cravings. Apparently, only fruit will do for the pregnant singer these days.
“I don’t know what it is, but I’m just about fruit for some reason. It has to be really good for me to like it,” she says.
Also in the same preview embedded below, Mariah reveals how she spent Thanksgiving, what meals she cooked for husband Nick and their family, and whether they have plans for Christmas, since she can’t go to Aspen like she did every year until now.
