Pimp my plane

Looks like PSP gamers will get another exclusive game, but this time, we're talking about flight combat/racing game from Vivendi Games. The game is called M.A.C.H., an interesting pun between the word used to indicate the ratio of the speed of an object to the speed of sound, and the game's name-Modified Air Combat Heroes.

In MACH, gamers will take the role of outlaw pilots and will have to compete in aerial competitions to test their skills, speed and weapons. What is most interesting about this upcoming game is that you will be able to take advantage of the PSP's Ad hoc connection and set up a game between yourself and seven of your closest friends.

The game is being developed in the UK by Kuju Entertainment and is scheduled to come out in the UK this spring. It will also come out on the Japanese market, and Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has already praised it in their October issue. They described it as "The ultimate racing battle" and vow you will get addicted "once you experience the thrills of controlling the fighter jet at violent speeds".

The game will feature eleven planes which can be customized once you unlock the necessary parts by progressing in career mode (over 180 configurations available). Four game modes will be featured in MACH, Arcade (self-explanatory), Career (here you have the possibility of unlocking planes and customization parts), Challenge (each tier with five challenges: (MACH Mel?e, MACH Dash, Time Check, MACH Lap and Dog Tag), and of course, Multiplayer (either by Ad hoc connection or through Game Sharing).
