Looks like Sony is not all tied up with PlayStation 3 issues as they have just revealed that the PSP 3.00 system update is now live. If you are a PSP owner get on with the download, via your PSP as you can't get it from Sony's PSP website just yet.

Apparently, this new system update will provide you with PSP remote support, meaning that you will be able to control your PS3 just by using your PSP via the WiFi connection. Using this system software you will also have support for downloading PlayStation Network titles. Sony has also updated the PSP software manual.

The PSP is Sony's first portable console ever, probably meant as a reply to Nintendo's GameBoy series. It was released back in 2005 in most regions, while the Japanese launch took place in December of 2004. Besides playing video games, you can use the PSP to watch videos, listen to music, view photos and browse the web.

Because if this latter functionality, some bloggers have named it "PlayStation Pornable" as it allows you easy access to the web and, as a consequence, access to porn also. FOX television network recently did a report on the PSP and the porn possibilities it can open for youngsters.
