Transferring PSP files onto your PC or the other way around has just gotten a lot easier thanks to Sony. The European branch of the company just released a new software which will significantly cut back PSP to PC transfer time.

This new software, called Media Manager, will enable users to transfer, video, audio, photo and document content form their PSP to their PC using the drag and drop method. A media preview function has also been introduced in order to assist users for a better flow of content. Media Manager will support an impressive number of file formats, and users will even be able to transfer their Internet Explorer favorites to their PSP systems. They will also be able to move game saves between the Memory Stick Duo.

This new software will not be pricey as it will be available for download starting with November 3 for just EUR 9.99. The boxed version will see the light of day on November 8 and it will cost a little bit more, to be more specific EUR 19.99. Also Sony Computer Entertainment revealed that future PSP bundles will include vouchers for downloading the new Media Manager software.
