PS2 limited edition released

Do you know that the PS2 is black, right? Not anymore. Sony has just launched a silver edition of their black games console, the PS2. This limited edition will also have a special price.

The price suggested by Sony is around US$ 129, but the last word on this matter will be the one of the retailers. Maybe they will see this as a chance to capitalize and will increase the price, or even double it. I bet some more gullible PlayStation fans will fall in their trap (if this is in the plan of the retailers, of course).

The PlayStation 2 is just six years old (next year he will be going to school), as it was released back in 2000. Of course the Japanese experienced the PS2 sooner than anyone as the console was released in Japan on March 4 of 2000. US gamers had to wait until October 26 and European ones kept their fingers crossed until November 24.

The second games console from Sony, namely the PS2, is compatible with games ported from the PS1, and it also allows compact disc and DVD playback. The compatibility with the PS1 is complete as the PS2 also supports PS1 memory cards and joysticks.
