The “Glee” episode with Gwyneth Paltrow finally aired and, aside from proving that this Hollywood starlet can sing, it has also gotten the Lohan clan fuming mad over a series of comments that Lindsay is “really crazy.”

In the video, Gwyneth, who plays a substitute teacher for the Spanish class, is trying to relate to the kids, while also teaching them Spanish.

Since Lindsay Lohan seems to be a topic that is unfamiliar to no one no matter how much they hate gossip, she uses it to warm up to the kids.

After the episode aired, word got out that Dina Lohan, Lindsay’s mother, was extremely upset about the “loca” reference. Gossip Cop confirms this, saying Dina is thinking of taking legal action against the show.

“In the scene, Paltrow’s character asks in Spanish (and translated via subtitles onscreen): ‘Lindsay Lohan is totally crazy, right?’” Gossip Cop writes of the bit that most upset Dina.

“Then, in an effort (presumably) to teach the students the number 5, Paltrow’s character quizzes, ‘How many times has Lindsay Lohan been to rehab?’” the e-zine further notes.

“And when the substitute teacher needs to talk privately with a student, she tells the class, ‘Please get into groups and discuss how many times Lindsay Lohan has been in rehab’,” GC writes.

While many may have found this funny or, if not, not important enough to even notice, Dina is fuming: this is character defamation and she’s not going to let it slide by her.

“Our lawyers are sending a letter,” Dina tells Gossip Cop, “on the grounds that the show allegedly defamed the actress who, by all accounts, is working hard on her recovery.”

It’s not just that the show is mocking Lindsay without provocation, but it’s also making of drug addiction a very light matter – when millions of people suffer from it.

“Lindsay has an issue that millions of people around the world are dealing with yet ‘Glee’ is treating addiction as a laughing matter,” a rep for Lindsay also chimes in.

As of now, “Glee” producers have not yet addressed this controversy. Below is the offending segment – you be the judge.
