The award-winning Little Britain TV series will set grounds for the development of a mobile game. Glu Mobile, a leading global publisher of mobile games, will take care that this happens under best conditions.

It is not the first time when a popular TV series or show evolves into a mobile game, which gives this highly popular one high chances of being successful. Little Britain is one of UK's most appreciated comedy shows from the last years. Moreover, the show has proved to be an excellent concept for games for several other platforms, such as PS2, PSP and PC, published on the Blast label by Mastertronic.

The mobile game will include four mini-games best adapted for mobile phones and featuring a great number of action-packed challenges and adventures. They will be themed around the most popular characters of the TV show, including roller-skating Vicky Pollard and fat-fighter Marjorie Dawes.

"Little Britain is incredibly popular among mobile gaming's core audience of 18 to 34 year olds, making it a perfect title to bring to the mobile platform. The game will be true to the original concepts of Little Britain incorporating all of the most popular characters, giving fans a unique experience made just for mobile Glu's expertise in developing quality games and bringing them to a vast audience will create a truly engaging experience for existing fans, whilst also welcoming a new audience to the world of Little Britain", commented Van Uong, Licensing Manager, Granada Ventures.

The "Little Britain" game will be distributed first across the UK, Australia and New Zealand through Glu's extensive network of operator partners. It's only natural for it to be highly appreciated especially in countries where the TV show has become popular over the past years and where it has managed to gather a large number of fans.
