Especially developed for Android devices, the mobile application has been demoed at the 2011 SHRM Conference and Exposition at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
According to Legiant, the application makes the tracking of time and attendance for any mobile workforce simple and efficient.
Basically, this is a software solution for time and attendance tracking and supports a variety of biometric and badge terminals in addition to working with any web browser or phone.
Some of the main features of the application include employee labor tracking, as well as attendance and time-off requests.
With Legiant Mobile Timecard Express, users will be able to take advantage of the real-time GPS location, as the application sends the actual time recorded, along with GPS location, Job, Activity, Department in real-time.
In addition, users may select favorite items to use, including their favorite pay type, departments and employees.
In case the network or internet connection is lost or unavailable, data will be recorded and stored, until the connection is re-established and the data will be automatically sent to the Legiant Express system.
“After releasing our first mobile time and attendance application for the iPhone, many of our customers requested an application for their Android phones as well. The Android application allows both the time and location for an individual, or an entire crew, to be captured in real-time with one touch. Plus, Legiant Mobile Timecard Express is free to all of our customers,” said Walter Ross, CEO of Legiant.
Legiant Mobile Timecard Express is now available as a free download from Android Market and is compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 or newer.
Furthermore, the application requires Legiant Timecard software to be implemented prior to use.
