14 DAY TRIAL // They have denied many times being involved in anything more than just a working relationship and perhaps being close to the definition of good friends. However, recent photos of singer and actress LeAnn Rimes and actor Eddie Cibrian show that there might be more to this than meets the eye, as they went out together to play some golf, fresh off separating from their respective spouses, as SocialiteLife can confirm.
While the two are not seen cuddling or kissing in the recently surfaced photos – not that they could with too much ease since they are, after all, on a golf course – the fact that they have been spotted together so shortly after separation could indicate that they have, indeed, been a couple all along. In some ways, Cibrian even paved the way for this (which may be their first outing as a couple) in his latest interview, where he defended himself by saying he was “not perfect.”
Rumors first began to circulate about Cibrian cheating on his wife with Rimes when they were still shooting for their film “Northern Lights.” As we also reported at the time, a US tabloid got a hold of a video of what seemed to be the two out on a dinner date, where they snuggled to each other and kissed just like any other couple would, without being aware of their PDA being recorded by the security camera in the restaurant. As scandal broke, both presumed cheaters denied the affair forcefully, claiming innocence and having happiness in their marital life.
However, just recently, Brandi Glanville announced that she was leaving and filing for divorce from Cibrian, given that she could no longer take his cheating and the many lies he’d told her throughout the years. The fact that LeAnn Rimes would not leave his family alone also pushed her towards taking the painful decision, she also said at the time. Only days later, Rimes too announced that she was getting a divorce, but all the while insisting her decision had nothing to do with the Glanville-Cibrian crumbling marriage.
According to Cibrian, it’s sad that the entire drama got to be played out in the media. “What I do know is when you reach a certain point in your career you’re placed in this unfair fishbowl. Things unfortunately get magnified. We are all human, we are all not perfect. The fact is I love my family dearly, and I’m a great father. It just saddens me that this is hurtful and being played out publicly.” the actor said in a recent interview, all the while refusing to confirm the LeAnn Rimes affair.
