Just recently, Brandi Glanville announced that she was divorcing Eddie Cibrian, citing infidelity as one of the main causes for the split. Shortly after, LeAnn Rimes, with whom Cibrian reportedly had an affair while still married to Glanville, also said she was divorcing her husband, Dean Sheremet, while dodging rumors that the one had anything to do with the other. It’s now Cibrian’s turn to speak for himself in a brand-new interview with ET.

Despite what one might call “overwhelming evidence” (including photos, a video and Glanville’s many statements) Eddie Cibrian does not admit to cheating on his wife with the famous singer. Still, that does not mean he bears no responsibility for the nasty split between him and his soon to be former wife, Cibrian seems to say. Everyone makes mistakes, the actor tells ET and he is clearly no exception to that.

“What I do know is when you reach a certain point in your career you’re placed in this unfair fishbowl.” Cibrian says, as to how the media tends to pry into personal aspects of celebrities’ lives and then judge them by what they think they see there. “Things unfortunately get magnified. We are all human, we are all not perfect. The fact is I love my family dearly, and I’m a great father. It just saddens me that this is hurtful and being played out publicly.” the actor further explains.

As we also reported a short while back, LeAnn Rimes also played a similar card just recently, when she addressed her fans during a concert to talk about the pain of seeing her marriage fall apart. Sometimes things simply do not work out no matter how hard you try or how much you invest in them, and the same happened in her and Dean’s case as well. Still, the acclaimed singer expressed her confidence that she would move past the pain, with some help from God and time, of which they say it can cure almost everything.

“You know, I think that you will all really be able to relate to this next song in your lives. You probably know it’s inevitable that in a relationship, sometimes you will have your heart broken at some point. Sometimes, you might say that you can’t do anything and sometimes, you want revenge. Sometimes, you say, ‘You’re not worth it.’ But sometimes, you don’t, and that’s when you leave it in God’s hands and know that he will take care of it.” LeAnn Rimes said before starting her set.
