If you're a true fan of arcade games and you'd love to have something similar around the house, but that would deliver a more impressive level of versatility than simply playing one game and one game only, then you'll most certainly be quite interested in the La Premiere developed by French company La Boite Concept, a solution that takes care of all your home multimedia needs (and more). The La Premiere really looks like an arcade cabinet on the outside, featuring a wooden enclosure and roughly the same overall shape as most of such gaming devices developed over time.

However, things are quite different on the inside, where the La Premiere is powered by an Apple Mac Mini computer, accompanied by a Hi-Fi amplifier delivering 2 x 80W RMS, that can literally turn this thing into a multimedia center, especially since users can easily access music stored both within the device's own memory but also found online.

Beside the amplifier, the device also sports a single unit 3-way stereo loudspeaker system including two 10 in. diameter carbon subwoofers diaphragms, two 5 in. diameter fiberglass midrange drivers and two 1,10 in. diameter soft dome Tweeters.

Plus, an iPhone / iPod dock has also been thrown in the mix, for added versatility and access to even more content.

The system comes equipped with a 22-inch Full HD display, as well as a built-in keyboard , and enough storage and connectivity options to add extra elements to the home entertainment system, such as a games console, video projector, alternate audio source, etc.

The La Premiere is built in several color variants (white and yellow main colors, combined with various types of wood panels, are available for the time being, more to come on the future), but only in a very limited edition (10 and 20 pieces, respectively), the estimated pricing for each unit being set at around 9,600 Euro.
