14 DAY TRIAL // LG Optimus 2X, the first smartphone in the world to pack a dual-core Tegra 2 chipset from Nvidia, is expected to become available for purchase on the UK market in the near future, and it might be launched for free on contract deals from wireless carrier Vodafone.
The handset can be seen as available for pre-order on Expansys, and the retailer lists it with various monthly deals from Vodafone UK too, in addition to the free of contract options that were previously listed on its website.
The contract offers start at £30.65 per month, with agreements signed for 24 months. SIM free, the smartphone is available for pre-order for £499 on the retailer's website.

With two 1Ghz cores inside, the LG Optimus 2X is now one of the most appealing Android-based smartphones on the market.
