John Mayer has an incredibly big mouth and, whether he does it on purpose or not, every time he talks to the media, he manages to spill the beans on private affairs that should remain at least in theory, well, private. Having been with the most beautiful women in showbiz, including Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jessica Simpson, Mayer is holding nothing back when it comes to speaking of them, as a recent interview cited by Gather shows.

Apparently, one of the singer’s favorite topics is his many affairs, including those with Aniston and Simpson. Speaking of the latter, Mayer compares her to “napalm” in the bedroom. At the same time, Simpson – and implicitly the relationship with her – was like “crack cocaine,” which means it was quite a rush but definitely not something that had a future. All the time they were together, he kept wanting to “snort” her, the singer says of Jessica.

And, while he’s very thrifty in details about his relationship with Simpson, Mayer is a bit more generous when speaking of Jennifer Aniston, whom he still loves, despite being apart for many months now. As per his own words, it was not the lack of affection that tore them apart, but rather the fact that each wanted different things in life. Personally, he continues to be very much in love with the “Friends” star and still feels a lot of regret at not being able to make it work but, as it happens, they had no future together.

“We just have a regard for each other’s feelings that is pretty intense. It’s been a deep relationship, and it’s no longer taking place at all. Have you ever loved somebody, loved her completely, but had to end the relationship for life reasons? […] Yes, always. I’ll always be sorry that it didn’t last. In some ways I wish I could be with her. But I can’t change the fact that I need to be 32,” Mayer says.

“Parts of me aren’t 32. My ability to go deep with somebody is old soul. My ability to commit and be faithful is old soul. But 32 just comes roaring out of me at points when I don’t see it coming. I want to dance. I want to get on an airplane and be like a ninja. I want to be an explorer. I want to be like The Bourne Identity. I don’t want to pet dogs in the kitchen,” he goes on to say.

In response to Mayer's talking about such personal matters in the media, Simpson tweeted, “It’s been a very interesting day…”
