If you way to often find yourself having to talk on your mobile phone while driving, going for a hands-free solution could be one of the best decisions you made in a while, especially if you decide to go with the recently released Cruiser2 as Jabra is highly regarded for its quality products and audio quality.

Following on the footsteps of its predecessor, the Cruiser2 comes with the same noise blackout technology that made Jabra famous, while also features a brand new design and improved functionality, such as caller ID and voice guidance.

What that basically means is the Cruiser2 will tell you the name of the contact that is calling you, as it has been recorded in the phone's memory, the voice guidance feature making it easier for you to navigate around the menus.

Furthermore, this can also be used for performing other functions such as to tell you just how much battery life the device has left.

And since I mentioned battery life, Jabra rates the Cruiser2 at 14 hours of talk time, and up to 20 days standby time, the speakerphone being charged via microUSB or directly from your car.

To further increase its specs list, Jabra has also added a FM transmitter to the Cruiser2, allowing you to playback your favorite tunes from any Bluetooth enabled device, as two devices can be simultaneously connected to the Cruiser2.

“Jabra introduced the industry’s first in-car speakerphone in 2004 and continues to lead this category that now makes up 20 per cent of the hands-free market worldwide”, said Peter Hartmann, product marketing manager at GN Netcom.

“We now offer a full portfolio of in-car speakerphone products and look forward to continuing to help grow the market as consumers become more informed about the benefits of hands-free solutions”.

As far as pricing is concerned this is available right now for about £99 according to Pocket-lint.
