Banking on on-going enterprise cost cuts (especially as far as traveling is concerned), Jabra has just introduced the Jabra SPEAK 410 speakerphone, a compact device that targets specifically the enterprise segment. Featuring an innovative 360 degree noise-cancelling microphone, the Jabra SPEAK 410 speakerphones (models 410 MS and 410 UC) allow a group of people to be heard from all sides of the device, thus enabling a better level of communication between teams found at rather large distances from one another. And if you're wondering just what the differences between these two models might be, you should know that the first is optimized for Microsoft Lync 2010, while the second will work with a variety of UC (unified communication) solutions. A mere five inches in diameter, Jabra SPEAK 410 is small enough to tuck into a briefcase and flexible enough to work in any environment, especially since the unit's integrated cable management allows immediate, easy set up and comes with a travel case to enhance portability. Additional features provided by this advanced communication solution includes built-in echo cancellation (permits no distortion of sound, even at the maximum volume level), a built-in ringer that alerts users to incoming calls, Full Duplex and Wideband sound, as well as a headset port (3.5mm) that lets users quickly and easily attach a noise-cancelling headset for private conversations, even in an open office environment. "With the introduction of the Jabra SPEAK 410, we have taken our proven success in the in-car speakerphone market and our expertise in Unified Communications to deliver a product that is truly game changing," said Chris Briglin, VP Strategic Alliances, GN Netcom, Inc. "The Jabra SPEAK 410 is not only an ideal speakerphone for conferencing on the go but one that delivers great sound and is compatible and easy-to-use with all leading UC solutions," added Mr. Briglin. The Jabra SPEAK 410 MS is now available globally and the SPEAK 410 UC will be available in Q1 2011, pricing being available upon request.
