Wireless carrier AT&T has launched until now two mobile phones powered by Microsoft’s newly unveiled Windows Mobile 6.5, the HTC Pure, which became available for purchase around October 6 (the official release date of Microsoft's operating system), and the HTC Tilt 2, which was put on sale on October 8 for the carrier's business customers, and on October 18 for the rest of subscribers.

The price tag for this Windows phone has been set at $299.99 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the carrier and after a $50 mail-in rebate, and the handset can also be purchased off contract, only that it costs $499.99 in this case. The Windows Mobile 6.5-powered phone seems to be one of the best deals available on the market at the moment, yet there are some offers that might appeal to users even more.

For example, the same mobile phone is available for purchase from LetsTalk for free, only that a $79.99 plan or higher is required. Indeed, one would also get 1,350 minutes per month, yet the savings might just not be worth it. Those who still own an HTC Fuze and would like to get rid of it can easily get it into LetsTalk's trade-in program, and get $121.81 for it, which would compensate in a way for the long-term commitment.

Other offers for the HTC Tilt 2 are also available for those interested in them, including a $150 price tag the device is available with on Amazon. Those who would like to benefit from this offer can get the phone with a $40-per-month plan, and it sounds better than the LetsTalk offer, as the Tilt 2 is priced at $200 here with the same plan. In case you are planning to move to a Windows Mobile 6.5-powered phone  and haven't made up your mind yet, the Amazon offer might indeed seem the best deal for the moment.
