14 DAY TRIAL // Unveiled last month, the improved version of the HTC Sensation has just been introduced in the UK. The smartphone comes with in-ear Beats Audio earphones and hardware.
Those who want to have both can purchase the HTC Sensation XL with Beats Audio from Clove UK for no less than £486 ($775 or 567 EUR) outright.
Given its huge display, the phone received the “XL” codename to differentiate it from the original HTC Sensation.
Also known as HTC Runnymede, the Sensation XL sports a stunning 4.7-inch Super LCD capacitive touchscreen, which supports 16 million colors and 480 x 800 pixels resolution.
In addition, the device comes with a range of sensors, including accelerometer sensor, proximity sensor, as well as gyroscope sensor.
Unlike the original Sensation, the upgraded version targets music lovers with its Beats Audio in-ear buds and hardware.
In this regard, the smartphone automatically detects the Beats headset and optimizes the audio output for high fidelity.

Aside its music-centric capabilities, the HTC Sensation XL provides users with an immersive Android experience via HTC Sense 3.5 UI, the latest version of the user interface.
Powered by Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, HTC Sensation XL offers users access to more than 250,000 apps and games via Android Market.
Hardware-wise the superphone is equipped with a 1.5 GHz single core Qualcomm MSM8255 processor, an Adreno 205 graphics processing unit, 16 GB of internal memory and 768 MB of RAM.
Unlike the original Sensation, the Sensation XL does not come with a microSD card slot for memory expansion.
Another strong point of the smarpthone is the improved 8-megapixel camera on the back, which features autofocus, dual-LED flash and HD (720p) video recording capabilities. A secondary 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera is included as well.
