HTC Sensation, the flagship Android-based mobile phone that the Taiwanese handset vendor HTC Corporation launched roughly a month ago, is now available for purchase in the UK for only £25 per month with the signing of a contract agreement with Vodafone.

The handset is available exclusively on this wireless carrier's airwaves in the UK, but was already put on pre-order with contracts from other wireless services providers in the country.

At Vodafone, the smartphone is available for free on monthly plans that start at £36 per month, with contracts on 24 months.

However, Phones4U decided that the £36 per month deal is not appealing enough, and cut the price tag of this device a little more.

Last week, we saw the HTC Sensation listed at retailers with deals on O2, Orange, Three and T-Mobile too, for free on plans starting at £30 per month.

At the moment, the £25 monthly deal on Vodafone's airwaves seems to be the most appealing offering of them all, with the handset available for a £0 upfront cost.

The said plan would also include 100 minutes, 500 texts, and 500 MB of data per month.

Those who would like to take advantage of this deal should head over to Phones4U's website here to learn more on the offering (via).

HTC Sensation is one of the most appealing handsets that were launched during the ongoing year with Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system on board.

The handset packs a large 4.3-inch screen with touch capabilities, along with a fast 1.2GHz application processor, complemented by 768MB of RAM and 1GB of internal memory.

The mobile phone also comes with an 8MP photo snapper on the back, enabling users to record videos in high-definition, as well as with a front-facing snapper for making video calls.

It arrives with support for 3G networks, WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities, built-in GPS receiver, USB port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and with the usual set of sensors.
