Windows Mobile-based HTC HD2 smartphone is said to have just reached a larger number of mobile phone carriers in the UK, as it is now available for purchase from Virgin Mobile too. The high-end handset was delivered to the market back in November, and was already available in the country through some major carriers. At the same time, the device was also spotted on O2's website, where it seems to not have been available for purchase before.

According to a recent post on Coolsmartphone, O2 took its time before putting the HTC HD2 on sale via its online store; yet, now UK users have the possibility to purchase the device through this carrier too. The wireless carrier announced the availability of the device back in November, when users would find it in its stores, but it seems that the online availability started only recently.

Those who would like to acquire the device with an O2 plan will find it available for free with 18- and 24-month plans, but the offer is wider than that. The price of the handset rises up to £250 on certain plans, and Coolsmartphone says that the best deal seems to be the £30 per month 18-month plan that includes 400 minute and has the HD2 priced at £150. Those interested in purchasing the phone from O2 can see it on the carrier's website here.

As for Virgin Mobile, it also has the HTC HD2 available on some appealing offers, it seems. For example, signing in for an 18-month contract with the carrier on a £25 per month plan will provide users with 500 minutes talk, unlimited texts and browsing, and will bring the device for only £79.99. Other options are available with this carrier as well, including one that has the device for free on a £30 per month plan with a 24-month agreement, and which will also provides users with 600 minutes, unlimited text and web access. HD2 is available on Virgin Mobile's website here.
