A new Windows Phone 7-based mobile phone is now headed for the UK market, namely the HTC 7 Pro, already officially confirmed, but with no specific release date or price tag attached to it until now, when Amazon UK put it on its website with a February 20th release date attached to it.

Moreover, the online retailer also unveiled info on the handset's possible price tag, listing it with as available on the said date for £415 SIM free.

Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation already confirmed the upcoming availability of the new device on the UK market, and we already saw it listed at other retailers too.

The new smartphone comes to the market with a sliding QWERTY keyboard, complemented by a 3.6-inch touchscreen display that boasts a 480 x 800 pixel (WVGA) resolution.

The specifications list of HTC 7 Pro also includes a 1 GHz applications processor, complemented by 576 MB of RAM and 512 MB of ROM, as well as 8 GB of internal memory.

The new mobile phone also comes with a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with auto focus, flash and 720p HD video recording capabilities.

Not to mention that it packs 3.5 mm stereo audio jack, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 with Enhanced Data Rate and 3G (7.2 Mbps download speed) connectivity capabilities.

The HTC 7 Pro sports built-in GPS receiver, with Bing Maps, and a 1500 mAh battery that can offer up to 420 minutes of talk time on 3G, or up to 420 hours of standby time.
