Today, the PlayStation Store is set to get another content update and this one could be something really special for a select group of players. Sony is including the twelfth issue of its digital magazine, launched last year, called Qore.

Why is this issue interesting? Because Sony is keeping its promise of special access for those who subscribe to it by giving away beta access to the multiplayer component of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. And that's a big deal, considering the level of interest that the videogame has garnered in the recent few weeks.

Sony is quite shrewd, taking the opportunity to enlarge the subscriber base of its digital magazine. If you are already subscribed to Qore, then you'll get a beta key and you will be able to use it on June 3, when the servers go live. If you are not subscribed yet, then you can shell out the money to Sony until May 15 and you will also be given access to the multiplayer beta.

If you are not interested in getting access through Qore, but interested in Uncharted 2, then you can check out the inFamous release, due out shortly, which also seems to include keys for the multiplayer beta, probably in some limited edition packages.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves was officially unveiled by Sony some time ago but the interest surrounding the title has grown quite a lot, as it was revealed that the game would offer a multiplayer component combining traditional shooter action with a Capture the Flag mode that involves statues, plus interesting 3D platforming. The game is still way off from having a release date but the multiplayer beta is quite close, beginning on June 3, so all those interested should make sure they get a key.
