The recent release of the (Arguably) Punk Pack 02 DLC for Rock Band has been followed by a rather unexpected and almost officially confirmed leak: a file called spa.bin contains what seems to be the entire list of future Rock Band DLC! And this is absolutely incredible!

Everything started over at the scorehero forums, where an user that goes by the name laconic kept updating a list of song titles found in the DLC he just got for his Rock Band game. The user says what everybody should know already: "This list is NOT for certain what will be released, only that Harmonix has POSSIBLY worked, is working, will be working on. Artists were not listed in the file."

However, an official comment from Harmonix arrived via the Rock Band from a game developer: ""This list of Rock Band DLC that was discovered within the files of a recent DLC pack is unconfirmed and subject to change. Please stay tuned for confirmation of Rock Band DLC closer to their release." This could be easily translated into: "Yeah, we forgot that list there, crap happens". Otherwise, there would be no actual reason for such a file to exist.

Even though speculation regarding the artists involved (since some of the songs can be associated with more than one rock artist) are intense, we will only show you the original list found and posted over at the scorehero forums by laconic:

I guess we can say that this is a really long list and at least half of the titles that can be surely attributed to an artist (for example the long list of Nirvana titles towards the end) would really fit the Rock Band game. We'll keep an eye on this list when the next Rock Band DLC will arrive and then we'll be able to judge if this list is really accurate. Until then, you can go search for these titles on YouTube, you'll see that most of them would be great to have in Rock Band.
