T800 is an all-in-one device

Fujitsu-Siemens is going to unveil its latest handheld device T800, from the LOOX series, at the 3GSM convention in Barcelona. The T800 will use a design that has become popular: a thumb QWERTY keyboard placed below a 240 x 240 pixel TFT display. The device is powered by a 416 MHz XScale processor, with 64 MB of RAM and 128 MB of flash ROM, and runs on Windows Mobile 5.0 Phone Edition. Support for UMTS high-speed wireless networking is enabled, allowing data transfer speeds between 400 and 700 kbps.

Among the other features provided, worthy of mentioning are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 and GPS which ensures that you do not get lost. The T800 also has a 2 megapixel auto-focus camera and a VGA camera for video telephony. The software offer is vast and comprises appointment calendar and other familiar Microsoft Office applications, and Microsoft Exchange for managing e-mails. A SD I/O/MMC slot is included for backup purposes and the addition of other applications such as an MP3 player or navigation system.

The device operates in tri-band GSM and will be available at a price of about USD $837.
