First review of “Scream 4” is ecstatic, says film is the best of the series so far

One of the most anticipated movies of the spring happens to be a horror film, a sequel to a franchise that fans feared dead for many years. The first review for “Scream 4” is in and it’s absolutely raving.

Fan DanielleRocks was one of the few lucky fans to have had the chance to attend the screening of an uncut version of the film, and her first impressions are now up on Scream-Trilogy.net.

Of course, this being the take of a fan, it should be taken with the due grain of salt. Still, it should also be more than enough to silence skeptics who’ve been saying “4” will mark yet another unnecessary sequel or remake of ‘90s classics.

According to the fan, the fourth film is by far the best of the series, with everything from the script to the music and acting being done to near-perfection.

She vouches she’s not the only one to have been so pleasantly impressed by the film, since all the audience members at the screening were so: crowd reaction was excellent, she says.

“It was phenomenal! What can I say. […] This outshines the 3rd one easily,” the fan writes. The fourth film surpasses all the others in almost everything, she goes on to explain.

“Definitely the bloodiest of all of them, but I feel like they’ll edit some of it down. An unrated DVD would be nice to have though,” she adds.

“All the acting was superb. Not one flaw. The opening scene was hilarious and brutal. Definitely a lot of great Williamson writing,” the fan writes.

“The characters all felt very genuine. […] The music seemed to be recycled Beltrami music from 1-3 but it worked well. The ending was insanity. Easily the best of all the series, in my opinion, anyways,” DanielleRocks argues.

“It didn’t end when I thought it would, and they even commented on that in the movie,” the same fan says, adding she’s dying from anticipation to see it come out in theaters in April this year.
