14 DAY TRIAL // Looks like EA is at it again, they either want to make more money or they really care about soccer fans and want to bring something new to the table (not likely). Be that as it may, the official FIFA 07 Manager website reveals that there will be a new expansion for this game, but unfortunately, this add-on won't be free of charge.
The add-on is called "FIFA Manager 07-Extra Time" and will be distributed exclusively via EA Link. If you are interested, you can download the expansion for GBP 9.95. It is set to be released at the end of February-beginning of March 2007.
Once you install FIFA Manager 07-Extra Time, you will benefit from a lot of new features, such as Player Manager, Ups & Downs, Half-Time, Story of a Season, Championship Prediction and many more. In Player Manager, it is now possible to start the game as player manager while Ups & Downs allows you to evaluate your team's performance and re-evaluate their rating accordingly.
Some new stadiums will be included, like the home stadiums of Arsenal, Benfica Lissabon, VfB Stuttgart, Bayern Munich, AS Roma and the Azteca Stadium. A new half-time screen with player talks, team talks, captain's talks will be implemented and furthermore, the chairman of the club could come in at half-time for a pep talk.
If you find yourself short on money and you buy a new valuable player, you can sell your stadium's name and sell the stands to sponsors to make even more money. In the new expansion, there will be an additional analysis of the performance of all participants on the next league matchday, but this will happen after European Cup matches.
