As reported before, a 14 year-old boy from Utah received a porn-filled Christmas present in the form of Madden NFL 07 copy. His name is Kolton Mahoney, and he got the embedded game from his uncle, who was unaware of any pornographic content.

Excited, Kolton Mahoney, hurried to pop in the game into his Xbox 360, and once he fired up the console, instead of the usual EA logo a pornographic image appeared. He got scared and called his parents who were also amazed by the game's content.

The Mahoneys quickly alerted the proper authorities, the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Layton Police. Although they are on the case, finding the culpable will be a tough job. The copy of Madden looked like it was genuine, it had the factory seal as well as the madden NFL 07 logo embossed on the disc.

Next-gen.biz also looked into the matter and contacted EA to see what the company's officials have to say about this. Corporate communications director Tammy Schracter responded and revealed that they are working with the retailer where the game was purchased "to investigate what happened". The EA email also read: "We regret any embarrassment or inconvenience this has caused the family. This game was first released in August 06 and has sold more than 5 million copies. We have received no similar complaints about this game."

By the looks of it, the Mahoneys don't want to get a financial settlement out of this, but wish that no one else gets affected by it: "We don't want anyone else exposed to it", said Linda Mahoney.
