A panel of experts who are focused on video games that are suited for the whole family has announced a list of 10 titles that have been judged as being the best opportunities for quality time for the Christmas 2011 holiday season.

The writers of sites like FamilyFriendlyVideoGames.com, GamerPops.com, GamePeople.co.uk and MrsVideoGame.com sat down together and created the list.

Johner Rieh, who created FamilyFriendlyVideoGames.com, stated, “Many parents these days are so concerned about video games as a time-wasting, sedentary activity that will damage their young kids' minds that it's easy to forget that many offer a great way for families to connect and play together.”

He added, “Our panel of experts is dedicated to highlighting the right kind of games for families, and has named our top holiday titles as a way to kick off Family Video Game Month and promote video games as an acceptable and fun part of a family lifestyle.”
